Submit Your Costume Photos and "How-To" Tips

Take a look at the Coolest Costumes section where you'll find the most recent Costume Contest winners, including over 200 (!!) costumes and "how-to" tips graciously submitted by readers like yourself.

While we prepare to launch the next Costume Contest, you can still submit your pictures AND tips and they'll be automatically entered in the next contest making you eligible to win a great prize (the first prize in the latest contest was a $150 Gift Certificate at Birthday Express!).

*Important: Remember to add "how-to" tips, diagrams, and any other information that may be useful.

And because coolest-kid-birthday-parties.com is all about sharing party ideas between us all (without ever having to buy a party planning book or pay any sort of fee – it's all free and will stay that way), I'd love to showcase your photos and tips on our site for others to enjoy and learn from.

*Costume Submission Guidelines*

*Submit as many photos of CHILD or ADULT costumes as you'd like - but make sure you choose the coolest ones.

*The photos must be of costumes that you or a family member MADE. However, if you've come up with a really creative idea to add-on to a purchased costume - send it over. You've got nothing to lose.

*Your costume ideas DON'T need to be perfect, tailor-made designs. Submissions are judged not only on “looks”, but on creativity, your write-ups, photo composition, and whatever else may catch the judges' eye.

*Explain how you created the costume, where the idea came from, materials used, a few tips that'll help make it easier for others to prepare it themselves, how long it took to create, or provide any other information you'd like to share. The more the better.

  

*If you're sending more than one photo, ZIP it up and send it as one file.

*Send the highest quality photo you've got (but not larger than 1MB) Gifs or Jpg file formats.

All photos and tips submitted will be made available online for FREE for everyone to enjoy. So, beside the prizes, you're submission will be part of a resource that'll be there for lots of people around the world - and yourself - next time you'll need some cool ideas for a kid's birthday cake.
